Thank you to all our coaches, teachers and parents for supporting our teams this term, we really appreciate it.
This term has been our most well attended in many years. We will finish this term, with close to 80% of our students attending for over 90% of the term. Well done to all those students that finish in this bracket! We will be handing out attendance badges for 100% attendance and 0% lateness across the term.
Students have been working hard on their learning this term. Congratulations to all of our students for their effort and work and to those who have received end of term awards. It is always a highlight to see the beautiful enthusiasm and kindness of our students.
On Tuesday a group of our Kapa Haka students went to Polyfest to support Mt Roskill Grammar students who were performing there. It was fantastic to see ex MRI students performing on the Māori Stage and this gave our students some ideas about what they can aspire to achieve when they move on to high school.
Next term continues to bring many exciting events and opportunities, kicking off with a group of students and staff tackling the Tongariro Crossing.
Have a safe and enjoyable Easter and upcoming holiday break. Term 2 commences Monday 20th April. We look forward to continuing to work with you next term. Thank you for your ongoing support.

There has been a case of Streptococcal A in our community. If your child has a sore throat, please go to a medical professional to get this checked out.
To prevent the transfer of hair lice (nits), we are asking all students with hair past their shoulders to tie it up. This is a great opportunity to use hair ties or ribbons to show your ‘House Colours’. Alternatively, use black hair ties. Thank you for your support with this.
